Information we collect
We collect information in a few different ways:
- Information you give us directly – for example, your name, email address, phone number and message when you get in touch through our contact form, or details you share with us when enquiring about or booking our programme.
- Information collected automatically – like standard technical information (such as your browser type, device type and pages visited) that helps us understand how our website is used and keep it running reliably.
- Information from schools and organisations – where a school or organisation works with us to deliver our programme, we may process limited information about staff contacts to coordinate delivery. We do not require or knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to enquiries and messages sent through our contact form;
- arrange and deliver our programme, workshops and courses with schools and organisations;
- keep our website secure and protect it from spam, bots and abuse;
- understand how our website is used, so we can improve it; and
- meet our legal and safeguarding obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies needed to make it work properly – for example, to protect our contact form from spam (see “Use of Cloudflare Turnstile” below). We don’t use cookies for advertising or tracking you across other websites.
Use of Cloudflare Turnstile
To help protect our contact form from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. When you submit our contact form, Turnstile runs a short, invisible check in your browser and may process limited technical information (such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics) to confirm that a form submission is coming from a real person rather than a bot. This processing is carried out by Cloudflare, Inc. on our behalf. For more detail on what Turnstile collects and how it’s used, please see Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Policy.
Sharing your information
We don’t sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted third parties who help us run our website and services – such as Cloudflare (for security and hosting, as described above) and email or communication providers we use to respond to enquiries – only to the extent needed for them to provide that service to us.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law – for example, contact form enquiries are typically kept only for as long as needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry.
Children’s privacy
Our programme is designed for young people, but this website is intended for schools, organisations, parents and other adults finding out about our work. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website. Where our programme is delivered in schools, any information about pupils is handled by the school or organisation in line with their own safeguarding and data protection policies.
Referral Tracking Cookie
When you visit our sign-up page via a referral link (for example, a link shared by one of our team members or partners), we may set a cookie named referral_code in your browser. This cookie stores a short code that helps us understand how you found us, so we can create a new organisation account correctly attributed to the person or campaign that referred you.
- What it stores: a short reference code only (e.g. AUTUMN26). It does not contain your name, email address, or any other personal information, and cannot be used to identify you on its own.
- How long we keep it: up to 30 days. It is deleted automatically once you complete sign-up, or expires on its own after 30 days if you don’t.
- How we use it: solely to record, internally, which referral source led to a new organisation signing up. We do not use it for advertising, cross-site tracking, or to build a profile of you, and we do not share it with third parties.
- Your choice: you can block or delete this cookie at any time using your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from signing up — it only means we won’t be able to attribute your sign-up to the referral link you used.
Your rights
Depending on where you’re based, you may have rights to access, correct, or ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it’s used. If you’d like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details above and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our website or the services we use. We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do.
