Initially as a pilot project in Chesterfield, the vision of i-Vengers has remained the same throughout - keeping children safe online through empowerment and peer-focused leadership. We're now six years in and there seem to be no signs of slowing down!
From our inaugural project we were noticed by the Derbyshire Police & Crime Commissioner, who provided funding for us to introduce our work to every primary school in the city & county. This acted as a springboard in our development, and we still work with DPCC to this day as our longest lasting collaboration.

Every hero deserves an origin story. Ours begins with Traci Gregory.
The i-Vengers initiative was founded in late 2019 by Traci Gregory. Having worked as a family resource worker for many years, Traci wanted to use her knowledge and expertise not only to keep children safe in the online environment but also help them flourish. With 16 years of delivering online safety, it seemed only natural that
Traci created the i-Vengers initiative.
Today, Traci works with schools, colleges, law enforcement and key workers across various sectors, raising awareness and standards in online child safety. In addition to being a Founding member of the Association of Adult and Child Online Safety Specialists, she is also a member of the UK Council for Internet Safety, and a qualified assessor for the 360 Online Safety Mark.
That's not all, as she also currently works with Ofcom and the FA to increase reach around online harm in partnership with several Premier League football clubs, not to mention authoring national guidance for social workers and helping as a harmful sexual behaviour support service practitioner. There's a lot going on!
In 2020, Traci was shortlisted in the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Enterprising Women Awards for ‘Outstanding contributions to Work in STEM’, and we can't wait to see what else can be achieved in the future.
